 As a Loyalty Cruise Sales Associate, you will be performing a variety of guest contact functions to fulfill guest needs and requests with the Crown & Anchor Program and Royal Caribbean Visa Credit Card.  The Loyalty & Cruise Sales Associate sells future cruise bookings by planning itineraries for guests currently cruising onboard the vessel and plays an instrumental role in servicing the program needs of our most loyal guests – Crown & Anchor Members, whilst continuously striving to exceed hospitality industry standards, and ensuring Total Guest Satisfaction.  This role establishes and supports a positive working environment and focuses on sales, ratings, monthly revenue targets, customer service, and operational goals where training, leadership, development, and recognizing overall team performance are paramount. Leading by example, from the front of the house, the Loyalty & Cruise Sales Associate is expected to be one of the ship"s driving advocate for delivering outstanding Customer Service and Sales Results.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Services the Crown & Anchor Society program throughout the cruise.  Ensures that all Gold Anchor Standards are adhered to regarding the program.  Coordinates with Loyalty & Cruise Sales Manager to ensure other departments and their employees are trained and up to date on the program
  • Reviews the Crown & Anchor computer report with the Loyalty & Cruise Sales Manager prior to each voyage to determine the number of members sailing and distributes information to various department personnel such as, but not limited to, Chief Housekeeper, Concierge, Guest Relations Desk, etc
  • Works with Loyalty & Cruise Sales Manager to plan events for the Crown & Anchor Program.  Serves as host at parties and socializes with members at the Captain’s Welcome Aboard Reception and Welcome Back Party and Platinum and Diamond Event
  • Actively works from an entrepreneurial perspective and displays a business ownership mentality when developing tactical plans and implementing new ideas to increase revenue and achieve financial targets
  • Serves as the vessel’s key contact person for member’s inquiries. And updates membership enrollment and amendments in the computer system.  Updates and maintains the Crown & Anchor section of the Compass for each voyage.  Keeps reception area well maintained and inviting to the members and guests
  • Promotes brands, itineraries, vessels, cabin categories, travel dates, etc. to achieve monthly revenue targets
  • Maintains inventory of Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club Cruises brochures and other collateral material that promotes our brand destinations Qualifications
  • Participates in frequent strategic planning sessions with Loyalty & Cruise Sales Manager to develop a plan for promoting specific cruise advertisements in various media and retail outlets that may be available throughout the vessel
