Corporate Restaurant & Bar Manager (m/f)

We are looking for a well-experienced Corporate Restaurant & Bar Manager (m/f) for a well‑known 5* European Cruise Line with mainly English speaking guests and with great itineraries throughout the world.
The position is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the Bar, Restaurant and other food service outlets throughout the ships towards the goal of achieving total guest satisfaction following company policies.
Candidates must have ship experience in a similar management position be well experienced with international guests and must have an excellent knowledge in this field, while keeping the company targets and budget in mind; you should work for the satisfaction of the guest under the requirements and standards of the cruise company.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Oversees service stations to all Bar & Restaurant personnel based on their performance, attitude and ability without any form of discrimination.
• Directing, coaching, supporting, supervising and evaluating the performance of team, which includes management of executive chef, restaurant manager, and bar and food managers, to ensure efficient food and beverage operation
• Identifies potential expense reductions through cost control. Analysis operational problems and establishes controls.  Reviews timesheets and forwards to the Food & Beverage Manager for approval.  May prepare a variety of reports and letters utilizing personal computer system and equipment.
• Ensures that all Bar & Restaurant staff is trained and performs their duties according to the United States Public Health rules and regulations.

You should have a well-groomed appearance, good proven management and strong administration skills. You need to be stress-resistant , have exceptional communication skills, be fluent in English and be a positive, open minded person. You must have an extensive Bar, Restaurant and USPH knowledge, be well organized and must be a team player, with great leader skills. The position requires the ability to motivate, lead and support an international team.

This position involves a lot of travelling!
