We are currently accepting applications for the role of Head Wine Steward for Italian fine-dining outlet on board large cruise ships.

As Head Wine Steward your responsibilities will include (not limited to):

• Providing wine service
• Training the dining room & beverage team on wine service & product knowledge
• Conducting all wine tastings & seminars
• Monitoring service standards & billing/accounts procedures
• Maintaining cellar & bar in show ready condition

Minimum requirements:

• 3 years previous experience in wine related, guest service related field
• Formal Sommelier certification
• Previous ship experience
• Solid knowledge of world wines
• Proven ability to take ownership and develop area os responsability
• Ability to lead a small team of co-workers

Contract rotation 6 months on / 2 months off
