Our client is a luxury river cruise line, operating in Europe and Asia.

The Job

• Head of the Housekeeping department
• Ultimately responsible for the cleanliness of guest staterooms, crew areas and public spaces
• Ordering and replenishment of stock - cleaning supplies, linens.
• Responsible for the supervision and assignment of responsibilities to the Housekeeping team
• Communicating with guests when possible and always providing the best possible service

The Candidate

• This position requires a regular commute to the vessel throughout the season, therefore the ideal candidate would preferably be based in Europe
• Must hold relevant experience as a Housekeeper/Head of Housekeeping for either a boutique hotel, river cruise line or small luxury seagoing ship
• Must speak, read and write English fluently
• Computer literate
• A natural leader who will also get involved with day-to-day cleaning tasks with the team
