Essential Job Functions:
- Terminal Services Supervisor is responsible for supervising and carrying out overall vessel agency responsibility and maintains good working relations with all applicable government agencies, i.e. US CBP, USCG, LBPD, USDA, etc.
- Assist the manager with all matters related to management, operations and security of the facility
- Terminal Services Supervisor will coordinate with other supervisory staff on administrative and operational needs and requirements
- Direct and supervises all activities of the Operations Assistant and duties assigned
- Terminal Services Supervisor schedules repairs and maintenance of the facility
- Coordinates with manager on government issues of more general consequence
- Administers sections of the Facility Security Plan where assigned
- Coordinates with all entities represented on facility related needs and requirements, and advises and assists where necessary
- Terminal Services Supervisor maintains all records as pertains to operations
Requirements:
- Vessel agency experience
- AA Degree in a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the maritime industry
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
