As our Food & Beverage Director, you will be responsible of our exciting, multi units, high-volume shipboard F&B Culinary and Beverage Operation and oversee its multicultural world-class team. You will be responsible for managing the entire F&B Operation of our state of the art ship’s (all bars/lounges, restaurants, kitchens and crew dining areas).  In addition, you will have the opportunity to travel the world while working for a top global employer of choice.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration or related field from an accredited college or university or the international equivalent
• Five to seven years progressive food and beverage managerial experience as head of department, preferably in an upscale hotel (multi outlets) or large cruise ship, restaurant chain or high volume food service facility
• Accountable for the financial performance of the entire F&B Department, including the successful implementation of proper forecasting, cost containment, revenue generation and control of inventory levels
• Superior customer service approach, team building, conflict and problem resolution skills
• Ability to speak, read and write English clearly and distinctly with guests and employees
• Knows and enforce HACCP procedures for sanitation and cleanliness in all food production areas
• Advanced knowledge of root cause, swat and business performance analysis
• Familiar with strategic planning, change management and risk assessment technics
• All international applicants must have the ability to obtain C1/D visa (and other relevant visas) when applicable
• Must meet all physical requirements, including the ability to participate in emergency life-saving drills and required training

Preferences:

• Ability to work with inventory related software (crunch time, etc), understand and audit inventory management systems and controls
• Ability to speak, read and write multiple languages is a plus
• Cruise ship experience and CDC – Vessel Sanitation Program knowledge is a plus
