Training & Development Manager

As Training & Development Manager, you will be working alongside a world-class, multicultural team.  You will be conducting facilitations and conducting onboard training for both department managers and staff.  In addition, you will have the opportunity to travel the world while working for a top global employer of choice.

• Providing professional internal consulting that creates measurable performance solutions and long-term growth and development for all Royal Caribbean employees
• Conferring with management to gain knowledge of specific work
• Consulting with management to conduct training and development needs analysis that identifies what knowledge and skills of officers, staff and crew need to perform at or above our brand performance standards
• Full accountability for the execution and delivery of the New Hire Welcome and Orientation programs for all new shipboard employees joining the company
• Auditing and preparing reports for shore side and shipboard management of employee training
• Conducting training sessions covering specified areas such as on-the-job training, diversity, harassment, ethics, guest service, sales techniques, health and safety practices, public relations, refresher training, leadership and managerial training, and promotional development.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) from an accredited university or college in Training & Development, Business Administration, Human Resources Development, Psychology or related field is required
• 3-5 years experience as a training and development professional in a corporate environment
• Possess superior time management and organization skills with the ability to multitask and manage in a fast paced multicultural environment
• Excellent platform/presentation skills with the ability to conduct and follow structured training programs while consistently applying adult learning and development principles
• Advanced computer skills
• Possess a highly advanced ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially, including the ability to interact with crewmembers and management, respond to questions and speak in front of groups of all sizes
• All international applicants must have the ability to obtain C1/D visa (and other relevant visas) when applicable
• Must meet all physical requirements, including the ability to participate in emergency life-saving drills and required training.
