We are looking for a well experienced Executive Concierge (m/f) for a great American Cruise Line with international passengers and great itineraries throughout the world.

You are involved in the whole Front Office and Guest Relation Department – and MUST have previous experience on a medium sized ship in a similar position, with a wide knowledge in the Front Office & Guest Relation Department, ideally with some knowledge in Shore Excursion Department as well. You are responsible for a smooth operation of the assigned Departments, the related areas & inventory and the assigned crew – f.e. you will be involved to deal with the daily operation, with special requests and be used to achieving results, while staying focused and keep an eye on the details. You will also organise and supervise the quality of the regular Guest Relation, customer complaints, and need to be able to do public announcements and maybe even stage appearances with public speaking and microphone use – if needed.

You are responsible for all questions concerning the satisfaction of your guests and make sure, that any kind of action that might be needed, is taken in a professional and timely manner. You are great at customer service and building positive relations with guests and colleagues and have the ability to manage the Reception Team. You should be used to be dealing with Lost Luggage, as well as Upgrades and suite allocations etc.

You should have a friendly approach, a well-groomed appearance and also should have a “hands on” mentality, and should be a positive, open minded person. Dealing with high-profile passengers on a daily basis, while keeping the company standard as well as the budget in mind, comes easy to you and you have a strong administration knowledge, with very good computer skills.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong social competence and good leadership skills, to manage an international staff in a positive and productive manner. You need to be stress-resistant, flexible and keep a calm mind, even in the most busy times on board.

This position requires a multilingual candidates, who needs to be fluent in English, as well as at least 2 more European languages like German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch etc..
