Position Summary:

This position holds accountability for the content management and entry of information for the Azamara Club Cruises web site. It also assists in the development of premier web experiences integrating information, entertainment, shopping and purchasing for consumers, and liaisons with IT in migration related items such as enhancements, defects and new projects requiring IT (systems and/or data) integration.

Responsibilities:

  • Content including copy, assets and multi-media for the marketing website and the coordination with various departments on content for the transactional parts of the site, i.e. booking engine, land programs (PCP), online check-in and My Azamara accounts.
  • Submitting, tracking and monitoring maintenance requests to IT as well as the interactive agency including final approval of all copy and digital assets.
  • Monitoring and tracking content during the project life cycle including setting expiration dates, repurposing old content as needed via the Content Management System (CMS) utilizing HTML and performing Q & A and UAT testing.
  • Assists in collecting business requirements from the business units when new products are being developed, participates in the development process and product acceptance testing, and assists in the launch of such new products.
  • Assists with the development of creative and content strategy for web presence by collaborating with other marketing peers and vendors, and assists in reinforcing brand identity and message to consumers through the web experience.
  • Promotional updates to website when new promotions are launched, i.e. ensuring information is listed correctly within each individual itinerary, in the special offers section, on the home page with rotation banners and special feature area.
  • Liaises with social media team on activities designed to grow product sales, drive web site interaction, and stimulate trial among prospects and foster loyalty among past guests.
  • Performs other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business, or 4 years equivalent work experience is required.
  • Strong interactive marketing experience and moderate technical background also required.
  • Possess working knowledge of the business and segment nuances and has experience working with information architecture in an interactive medium.
  • Highly organized self-starter able to manage multiple concurrent work streams, producing high quality deliverables while working with minimum supervision.
  • Individual must be able to collaborate on strategies and must execute tactical solutions to achieve strategic goals.
  • Assisting in preparing documents to describe strategy and tactics, implementation plans, metrics, success factors and contingency plans will be a requirement of this position.
  • Must be able to propose metrics for measuring effectiveness of tactics and be able to understand and relate data in a way that will provide useful information for assessing and enhancing product offerings.
