Position Summary:

As the Partnership Marketing lead for the Celebrity Cruises Marketing team, you will partner with sales, marketing and hotel ops along with IT to build and enhance partnership relationships focused on guest engagement and revenue enhancement. You will be responsible for all of the business aspects for marketing partnerships. You must interface with many cross-functional groups across the US and International arenas and bring clarity to current and future partnerships. Additionally, you will need to be focused on tracking performance and revenue benefits associated with each partnership as well as continuously looking at ways to enhance each relationship. You will also need to look at new opportunities on an ongoing basis and have well defined criteria to assess opportunities in an objective manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage overall partnership relationships with multiple partners which includes but not limited to contract negotiation, marketing plans, forecasting, marketing implementation and reporting/tracking.
  • Key participant in execution of the development of partnership marketing plans which will include acquisition, growth and customer engagement.
  • Provide business direction to support development of business processes, business rules, systems and operations and data flows with IT.
  • Work globally across both US and International functional teams where possible to provide broadest customer reach and appeal.
  • Create and communicate business performance metrics to gauge the health and quality of every partnership especially focused on guest engagement, growth and revenue.
  • Develop selection criteria for new partnership opportunities along with process for approval of new partners and opportunities.
  • Partner with other brands including Royal Caribbean and Azamara to build out robust marketing plan and sharing of best practices for products such as credit card.
  • Partner with legal teams where needed to establish and review any new or existing contracts.
  • Identify and present recommendations on marketing collateral, contact strategy across all touchpoints.
  • Engage and participate in cross-functional teams assigned to larger customer marketing exercises or promotions to build out additional synergies with new or existing partners..
  • Engage with loyalty team on opportunities to strengthen partnerships with loyalty tie-ins and cross marketing opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of previous marketing experience especially partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and execute off of tactical and strategic plans.
  • Previous experience working in cruise, travel or hospitality industry a plus
  • Demonstrated knowledge of marketing campaigns, media planning and customer acquisition.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • The ability to establish and develop long term relationships with both internal and external customers will be a key to the success of the role.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment or independently
  • Ability to connect partnership strategy to overall brand strategy
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Superior problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong planning skills including the ability to anticipate trends and current situations and take appropriate action on a timely basis.
  • Marketing skills including customer engagement and digital marketing.
