Casino Marketing Manager

Position Description:

This position is responsible for Royal Caribbean's casino marketing campaigns and CRM programs.  This position will work collaboratively with Casino Operations & Revenue Management teams in order to develop annual direct mail/email campaigns aimed at driving casino customer return rate and spend at the onboard casinos. The person in this role will develop sophisticated casino segmentation and lifecycle programs in order to drive the desired behaviors. The person in this role will also be responsible for all of the Casino Loyalty communications.
Key to success will be spearheading our efforts to increase member loyalty (reducing churn), creatively re-engage with former members (win-back and/or repeat purchases), and motivate referrals and word of mouth through highly targeted communications and offers.
In addition, this role will manage key Casino loyalty partners aimed at driving customer acquisition within the Casino vertical.

Responsibilities:
   
  • Create Casino customer segment level contact plans and customer experience maps
  • Ability to understand data and turn customer insights into actions to optimize campaign performance. Create executive summary of recommendations.
  • Partner with Revenue Management and Casino marketing in order to gather requirements, and tactical business needs in order to inform campaign annual tactical and strategic calendar. As well as with Analytics team to develop customer insights to drive campaign development and prioritization
  • Develop campaign briefs, business rules documentation and lead launch meetings, integrating all key stakeholders.
  • Manage execution, implementation and on time delivery of complex, large scale cross-channel initiatives.
  • Develop project plans, lead team status meetings and provide ongoing clear direction to external vendors and internal cross functional brand teams.
  • Responsible for ensuring projects meet planned timelines and budget. Update and maintain master marketing calendar
  • Work with Analytics team to constantly optimize and improve existing segmentation and develop predictive models that drive higher ROI across key segments and programs.
  • Implement a rigorous testing discipline across the channels scalable A/B testing and drive strategic recommendations on how to extract maximum ROI from retention marketing.
  • Manage relationship with key loyalty partners and develop marketing programs to support the partnership

Qualifications:

College degree required. 3 to 7 years of experience in CRM, Casino or One to One marketing.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • We are looking for a candidate with hands-on experience in retention marketing (especially through direct mail, e-mail and digital channels), casino marketing, customer segmentation, and product marketing. Passion and strong communication skills are a must u00bf the role is less focused on tactical execution and more on proactive leadership of overall retention efforts.
  • The individual in this role will need to be laser-focused on driving marketing results, by driving constant optimization of lifecycle based programs, by constantly testing different program variables, and by using state of the art methods and technology to drive results.
  • Experience managing customer-focused, multi-channel direct marketing programs, including integrated direct mail and email campaigns.
  • Able to develop strong working relationships with internal peers, agency partners and management and able to influence without authority
  • Ability to develop end-to-end user experiences.
  • Strategic and creative thinker.
  • High analytic aptitude and strong attention to detail.
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strategic decision-making and strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines and work  under pressure
  • Proficiency in understanding marketing analytics, campaign measurement, and customer research. 
  • Strong thought leadership and ability to motivate and inspire team-members
  • A true customer advocate, with passionate for customer experience overall
