Opportunity for an experienced Cocktail Bartender to join Australia’s most iconic cruise line – P&O Cruises

Throughout our 80+ year history P&O Cruises has remained Australia’s most loved cruise line – in fact we were voted as one of Australia’s most trusted brands in Readers Digests 2013 Trusted Brands Survey. As testament to our success in the Australia/New Zealand market we have just announced the expansion of our P&O Cruises fleet from 3 to 5 ships in 2015.

We are currently searching for a male Cocktail Bartender for an early May commencement on board. Key responsibilities of this position include: providing quality cocktail bar service to P&O Australia Cruises passengers; coaching and training junior bartenders; and facilitating cocktail making seminars for guests, including presenting Mix Academy sessions.

Along with several years’ bartending experience, including recent experience in a dedicated cocktail bartending role, our ideal candidate will bring a high customer focus, strong relationship building and interpersonal skills, great communication skills and the ability to thrive in a team working environment.

Contracts are for six months duration with two months leave in between assignments. The salary is competitive and flights, transfers and a uniform are all supplied by the company.
