Opportunity for an experienced DJ to join Australia’s most iconic cruise line – P&O Cruises

Throughout our 80+ year history P&O Cruises has remained Australia’s most loved cruise line. As testament to our success in the Australian/New Zealand market we will soon be expanding our fleet from 3 to 5 ships.

We have an immediate requirement for an experienced DJ to join our on board entertainment team. Our DJs are responsible for regularly performing across multiple venues on board – from a night club environment to supporting performances and productions. Required music is provided – but of course you’re also welcome to bring your own!

Along with at least 4+ years’ recent experience as a professional DJ (in a hospitality, entertainment or cruise line environment), our ideal candidate will bring a vast knowledge of a variety of music, genres and age groups, the ability to operate a variety of audio equipment, microphone experience, the ability to engage a large crowd, strong relationship building and interpersonal skills, confident communication skills, a customer focus and the ability to thrive in a team working environment.

Contracts are for six months duration with two months leave in between assignments. The salary is competitive and flights, transfers and a uniform are all supplied by the company.

Please note that employees of P&O Cruises are required to obtain a medical clearance, possess a current unrestricted passport (valid for at least a year) and be eligible to apply for an Australian Maritime Crew Visa (MCV) and Australian Visitor Visa.
