We now have a number of opportunities for experienced male hotel receptionists to join Australia’s most famous and iconic cruise line – P&O Cruises Australia

Our receptionists interact with guests face to face, over the phone and via email, answering questions and dealing with issues and challenges that arise to help ensure our guests experience a holiday to remember.

Specific responsibilities include:

• provide all guests with a premium level of customer service, regardless of nature of interaction
• ensure that guest requests are efficiently and effectively attended to in a courteous manner, fulfilling all reasonable requests from guests to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety
• when challenging situations arise, provide guests with answers, alternatives and solutions, striving to achieve a positive outcome wherever possible
• cash handling and account processing
• general administrative support; preparing letters and documents
• providing reports for the management
• communicating with the other departments on board

Our ideal applicants will bring hotel or cruise ship reception experience, along with:

• sound interpersonal and relationship building skills with a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction
• strong communication skills, both verbal and written; fluent English
• general administration skills and computer/keyboard skills, including a knowledge of Fidelio or other hotel booking system
• the ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining a structured and organised work routine
• academic qualifications in hospitality management or other relevant certification (highly regarded)

Contracts are for six months duration with two months leave in between assignments. The salary is competitive and flights, transfers and a uniform are all supplied by the company.
