In this role, you will work closely with LNG team members to ensure the successful execution and completion of STS operations at the terminal and the general management of the terminal. You will be required to solve problems, issues all concerns of clients and use your experience to complete these tasks at hand.

This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in terminal management. LNG STS operations and gain experience in areas including account management, budgets, procurement and personnel management.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Priorities safety and environmental compliance.
  • Should be fully conversant with all aspects of the facility.
  • He shall act on behalf of Manager and Owner in connection with all matters concerning the operation of the terminal
  • Act as loading master, provide operational and safety advise to visiting LNGC
  • Provide guidance on practical commercial matters
  • Ensure planned maintenance schedules are being adhered to and are up to date.
  • Conduct compatibility assessments
  • Coordinate a small team of management staff, including planning rota, leave taking into consideration both terminal and head office requirements
  • Plan and conduct training for terminal staff
  • Support existing projects and agreements.
  • Liaison with Regulatory agencies
  • Provide input and assistance in completion and or revisions to operations, emergency procedures, maintenance and repair and Port facility security plans.
  • Maintain records for the terminal including accounting for the distribution of hydrocarbons.
  • Preparation for internal and external audits and inspections.
  • Monitor budgets and ensure accuracy of all third party billings.
  • Completion of third party "RFP's" - Request for Proposal.
  • Conduct port and vessel inspections as necessary.
  • Participate in industry related activities/events.
  • Develop and Produce life of terminal contract plan
  • Develop and Produce yearly KPI's
  • Monitor Terminals performance in comparison to KPI's
  • Identify deviation and prescribe rectification action.
  • Report performance and deviations to appropriate higher level management
  • Liaise with and support Terminal Managers to optimize performance
  • Liaise with 3rd parties to optimize performance/customer relations
  • Conduct audits of terminals as required
  • Investigate staff issues
  • Develop Procedures and IMS

You must hold a minimum of a Class 2 CoC and have sailed in rank or as cargo engineer. A strong command of English is essential for this position. Please send your CV to hidden link - please login
