Manager of Port Operations Guest Port Services (Cruise)

This role will cover the UK, Northern Europe & the Baltic Sea. Applicants will have overall operational and financial responsibility for port operations to include that everything is achieved in a timely and professional manner.

The applicants will also be responsible for overseeing Guest Port Services which will include being responsible for the overall guest experience in designated turn around ports. On top of this you will be responsible for maintaining brand image, manage relationships with port authorities, and negotiate contracts, cost benefit analysis and operational effectiveness.

You will interface closely with deployment and itinerary planning, monitor birthing requests, manage budgets and respond to any crisis involving ships.

The ideal Candidate will have:

• Experience with an international cruise line (in port operations, marine operations or shore excursions department) in a cooperate environment
• Management experience
• Finance experience
• In-depth knowledge of immigration and custom laws
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Fluent English and the ability to live and work in the UK / EU
