Personal Cruise Consultant

• Responsible for reaching the sales objectives
• Responsible for ensuring the respect and correct application of the ship memo rules
• Responsible for sales materials (catalogues, brochures, leaflets, roll up, IT devices)
• Responsible for customer data check / collection and privacy capture into CRM
• Selling and/or promoting future cruises at the Personal Cruise counter located in pre-defined high traffic zones on-board using B2E, CRM and other in-house sales tools (SAPI)
• Managing the cruise sales counter according to opening schedule
• Partecipating in on-board events, excursions, gala events to make contacts with Guests
• Informing the Guests on sales counter opening hours, offers and product presentations timings in Today and other on-board materials (ITV, Totem on board, Welcome cabin letters ect.)
• Holding and conducting sales/destinations/product presentations
• Providing regular reporting (Tracking activity) to Corporate Direct Sales & Marketing Dept. and to Tour Manager and Hotel Director of his/her ship
• Partecipating into the weekly conference sales update held by Corporate Direct Sales & Marketing Dept.
• Partecipating into Training courses
• Crossing promotion of excursions
• Responsible for creating leads for future sales to be followed by the Outbound teams
• Partecipating to the pre cruise Tour Manager's briefing

Job Requirements

• High school + ideally travel agent diploma
• Computer literate and good knowledge of the most common softwares (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Email and Internet usage) – B2E reservation system, Lotus notes, CRM and SAPI knowledge are a plus
• Background in tourism product selling (for example ex-travel agent), when in-house (ideally Tour Escort  or other revenue oriented position, ashore Contact Center Sales Agents, Costa cruising experience appreciated)
• Excellent English and beyond the native language the candidate needs to be above intermediate in two additional languages (i.e. Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Mandarin)
