Diver/Deckhand (Yacht) – Worldwide – Permanent

An 80m+ private Yacht is looking for a Diver/Deckhand to join immediately. The yacht travels a lot and can at times be very heavily focused on diving. This position will be diving with the Boss and involves spear fishing but will also involve taking groups of guests diving when required.

Responsibilities:

• Deckhand duties when not diving
• Assist the Boss with spearfishing gear when scuba diving
• Preparing and cleaning dive equipment
• Find dive sites for spear fishing and recreational dives

Requirements:

• Must be a very experienced and confident Scuba Diver Instructor
• Be familiar with oxygen administration after diving and be able to see and handle situations developing during the dive
• Have Deckhand experience or knowledge
• Have the STCW’s and medical
• Spear fishing knowledge will be beneficial but is not essential

Benefits:

• 5:1 month rotation
• Salary circa €3000 depending on experience
• Worldwide travel
