Finance Officer (m/f)

Skills & Education:

We are looking for a well-experienced and qualified Finance Officer (m/f) for a great 5* American Cruise Line with international passengers and great itineraries throughout the world. This position contributes to the Company's Mission, values, and strategic priorities by implementing principles of Control, Audit, Accounting and Finance processes and the service principles of sincere Hospitality and company Service Standards

You must have extremely good finance knowledge- ideally as Finance Officer on a seagoing operation already, and must have at least three years at management level. Your duties f.e. will be - but not limited to:

• Management of Company's funds
• Guests, groups, Crew accounts and settlements
• Charter, application of contractual financial terms
• Concessionaires application of contractual financial terms
• Supervise Crew payroll and payment, and the Exchange office
• Prompt and Fine free clearance of the ship
• On board Inventories control and control of centers of revenues
• Control of budgets related to revenues, cost & consumption, and agents' disbursement account

Your will also be in charge of: Operations/Business Processes, Accounting, Controls, Inventories, Clearance, Embarkation and Disembarkation of Guest and Crew, Computer Systems and many more. You should love to work with an international Team and have extensive cash-handling experience, dealing with Port Authorities and all required paperwork

for the crew and the vessel is in your nature and comes easy for you - if needed.

You should have excellent communication skills, combined with exceptional written and oral communication skill in an international environment and with various of Nationalities as Crew Members. You should be well organized, have a positive, open minded personality and be stress-resistant at all times.

We are looking for a “true” team player and not just a Finance Officer - combined with great administration and numbers skills! Also the position requires the ability to motivate, lead and support an international team on board, while leading by example.

Fluent English is required, any additional European language - ideally German, French, Italian and/or Spanish – would be a big plus. Also required are outstanding computer skills with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) and MAPS.
