Cruise Ship Shopping Presenter

Shopping Presenters live and work onboard cruise ships and work six month contracts. The Shopping Presenter's main job is to excite and educate guests about the incredible shopping opportunities they'll find both onboard the ship and in the ports of call. The Shopping Presenters give various presentations, host seminars and events, as well as gangway promotions onboard the ship. The majority of products promoted are luxury items: gemstones, fine jewelry, watches, crystal, electronics, handbags and souvenirs. We are seeking individuals with professional public speaking skills and a proven track record of customer/client interaction, preferably in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Applicants must be able to travel onboard a cruise ship for a total of 6 months, consecutively.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years sales experience with proven track record
• Successful public speaking experience, preferably in a fast-paced, results-driven organization
• Experience engaging large groups of people

• Strong microphone technique
• Ability to command and hold the attention of a large audience
• Ability to present confidently on camera for television replay with scripts provided
• Ability to build relationships that motivate, persuade and excite guests and onboard teams
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
• Strong selling skills and ability to close sales quickly
• High English language proficiency (multiple language fluency a plus)
• Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office, Internet, Email
