£18k basic salary + OTE £20-35k (tax refundable) plus free food & cabin

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a sales driven, customer focused candidate to join one of our prestigious Galleries at sea.

We are looking for confident, outgoing, well presented individuals that can strike up and develop client relationships with ease. We are recruiting for both Art Consultants and Gallery Managers.

The Role

The Gallery is a new concept in fine art sales that is dedicated to providing a very personal service to our clientele. We offer art consultation on the artists we represent.

The role is a consultative sales role , you will be expected to work towards realistic but challenging individual sales targets and build a loyal client base . Other than delivering sales the successful candidate will be working directly for the Gallery Manager providing support with curating, hanging and preparing for events and artist talks.

You will be a self-motivated individual who knows how to encourage new sales and develop successful relationships - Ultimately a candidate that feels as passionately about selling art and providing a personal and unique service to our clients as we do.

You will be hardworking and motivated by sales targets and be inspired by commissionable sales to ensure monthly targets are met in the Gallery.

This role offers the right person a great opportunity in art sales and the opportunity to travel the world. You will also be part of an exciting new fine art Gallery concept which is being successfully delivered by Whitewall Galleries throughout the UK and at Sea and is still expanding!

Essential

• Successful sales person with a proven track record Confident public speaker (for artist talks and events)
• No unspent criminal convictions (for US Visa qualification)
• Flexible to work away from home for 6-8 months at a time (this may include Christmas & other holidays)
• Happy to share a cabin with another employee
• Valid passport
