The "Assistant Sommelier" with Seabourn is responsible for beverage and wine service and sales in the dining outlets and has operational management of dining outlets with a maximum capacity of 450 guests throughout a service. The "Assistant Sommelier" plays an integral part in assisting with the smooth operation and taking ownership of their outlet. Decisions on how to enhance the guest experience are an important responsibility on how the company achieves the goal of providing the guests with the ultimate travel experience. The Sommelier ensures all their team members are aware of the vision and mission of Seabourn and encourage their teams to follow the guidelines set forth.
To be considered for the role, applicants need to be in possession of a Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) - Level 2 or equivalent certificate and previous ship experience is desired but not essential. If this sounds like a role for you, then do not delay, and apply right away.

Work Experience Requirements
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship, in a 4/5* Hotel or in an Upscale Restaurant.
Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
