Service Technician (m/f)

Your chartered course:

• Acting as leader of the riding team for maintenance and repair work on board
• Planning the timely completion of workload and the control of work results and status of completion given to subordinates
• Carry out of maintenance work as well as repair and installation of any kind requested machinery work or other requested work
• Reporting to the nominated superior on board and SSI Riding Team and assisting to calculate the required work scope and required material 
• Preparation of the work place and cleaning up after finishing duties

Your previous ports of call:

• Completed apprenticeship as technician, ship´s mechanic or similar and/or study as Engineer
• Several years of experience as motorman, technician, ship´s mechanic or similar
• Ideally first experience in complex engine systems on board as well as  profound maintenance skills of main engines and other aggregates in the engine room
• Fluent English language and proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Result orientated, entrepreneurial thinking and action, high degree of result orientation and strong ability to communicate
