Auditor - Safety, Quality & Environmental - Cruise

I am currently working with one of the world's leading, multi brand Cruise companies that are going through a large growth period, and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Safety, Quality & Environmental Auditor to join their team based in Miami.

The auditor SQE supports the effort of the safety, Environment & Health departments to ensure corporate shipboard compliance according to associated flag state regulatory requirements.

This will include providing shipboard and shore side audits of SQM, quality, and environment SOLAS requirements, STCW, MARPOL, ISM code & various IMO regulations to name a few.

The applicants must have the legal right to live and work in the USA and have extensive knowledge of management systems including ISO 9001/ 1400 as well as knowledge to do with the maritime industry and safety, quality and environment auditing techniques.

You will interface closely with deployment and itinerary planning, monitor birthing requests, manage budgets and respond to any crisis involving ships.

The ideal Candidate will have:

• Experience with an international cruise line (as an SQE Auditor)
• Management experience
• The legal right to live and work in the USA
• In-depth knowledge Safety, Quality & environmental regulations within the maritime industry
• Knowledge of the requirements & implementation of international regulations including ISM, SOLAS, STCW, MLC, MARPOL
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Fluent English and the ability to live and work
• $70,000 - $80,000
