The key responsibility of this role is the management of Cruise Ancillaries from an end-to-end perspective as well as coordinating all elements of Cruise Reporting.Further responsibilities include providing analytical information for decision making around future season itineraries.
What you will be doing
Business Partnering the Cruise commercial teams to help drive the best performance in ancillaries (Shore Excursions and on-board profits), including supplier tender processes, ship target setting and robust forecasting. Alongside this supporting and developing future initiatives to improve Cruise ancillary margins will be a key requirement. Working alongside the Cruise Accountant you will assist in the production of accurate and efficient End of Cruise reports and ensure that the correct end-to-end accounting policy is followed.This role has responsibility for all reporting output, including coordinating the month end process from Flash through Actuals working with the Reporting team to ensure Cruise P&L is understood and any variances can be explainedOther tasks will include providing analysis to help in planning future seasons’ itineraries, taking into account strategic risks / opportunities and engaging with the rest of the business (airline, beach tour operator etc) to incorporate all wider implications.
What we are looking for
This is a role that would suit someone with good commercial acumen, who is at ease when dealing with large volumes of data and is able to turn around pieces of analysis quickly and accurately. Being comfortable in the presence of senior stakeholders is also important, as the role will liaise with non-finance business partners to ensure all inputs into the ancillaries forecast have been robustly challenged.The position would suit someone towards the end of their qualification or a recently qualified analyst with a real desire to help support the business with key decision making.

Work Experience Requirements
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship, in a 4/5* Hotel or in an Upscale Restaurant.
Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
