Hotel Services Engineer

Location: At Sea

Salary: 35,568 NOK per monthly wage ( 3830/ 3502)

Hours: 2 months on and 2 months off rotation.

3R Global are currently looking for a highly motivated, experienced and passionate Hotel Services Engineer. It is a great opportunity to join one of the most well-renowned companies in the cruise industry.

What you will be doing:

• As Hotel Services Engineer you will be responsible for daily calibration and any necessary maintenance of the equipment for freshwater.
• You will be directly responsible for all the technical side of passenger services excluding electrical.
• As Hotel Services Engineer you will work together with the First Engineer Senior, Chief Officer and Hotel Manager to organise the effective use of the fitter for maintenance on deck and passenger service areas.
• You will look after the upkeep of the lifeboat/ tender propulsion machinery, hydraulics, damage control and emergency generator engine.
• As Hotel Service Engineer you will be expected to turn out as required for emergency maintenance periods.
• You will be familiar with the operation of all machinery and be aware of its limits.
• As Hotel Services Engineer you will make sure the management of technical issues is prompt
• You will oversee the maintenance of all hotel machinery, systems.
• As Hotel Services Engineer you will report all defects and deficiencies found.
• You will monitor the storing of any spare parts for various sections of the machinery plant.
• As Hotel Services Engineer you will be expected to be polite, courteous and presentable when working in passenger areas. What you'll need:
• You must have Technical qualification at OND or HND level or equivalent
• You will have a minimum of two years' experience in hotel or hospitality industry maintenance;
• You will have the ability to read and understand technical drawings and manuals;
• You will have excellent technical knowledge to be able to manage, supervise, and guide officers and tradesmen of varying levels of expertise.
