Cabin Attendant

On behalf of our respectable Client (Prestigious European River Cruise Company), we are looking for following position for winter season 2017:

CABIN ATTENDANT

NOTICE:

Position is open for candidates who can embark the ship within next few days, and it is open for EU citizens only!

Main tasks:

• Assisting guests on embarkation day to escort them to their cabin and help with luggage
• Cleaning staterooms in compliance with Company standards and hygienic guidelines
• Cleaning all public areas on board (incl. Crew area)
• Cleaning Laundry and store rooms
• Responsible for cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms on a regular base in compliance with HACCP and Company standards
• Replacing towels, guest toiletries (amenities, glasses, toilet paper, etc.) if necessary
• Check and refill of the mini bar on a daily base
• "Turn-down" service on a daily base
• Distribution of onboard information material to the staterooms
• Reporting technical defects in the staterooms to the reception
• Assistance in the laundry
• Assistance in the dish wash
• Adherence to cleanliness and hygienic regulations in compliance with HACCP and Company standards
• Compliance with the waste concept
• Stand by duty as needed
• Participation during inventories
• Careful handling of all provided equipment and inventory
• Knowledge of the ship and the respective daily program Guest services in general
• Guest services in general
• Support of other departments if needed (cocktail hour, snack service,etc)

Qualification Profile:

• Organizational and communication skills
• Guest focused, stress resistant, calm under pressure, team player and with positive appearance
• Open minded and flexible with high social and inter-cultural competencies
• Excellent English skills (written & verbal), other languages are an advantage
• Must work independently, good computer skills

Additional tasks for all crew members:

• Assistance with the welcome of guests on the day of embarkation
• Participation in the crew show
• Assistance with the loading of goods and suitcases
• Keep crew mess and your own crew cabin clean
• Thorough execution of the safety role on board
