We are currently looking for Ass. Destination Managers on board luxury 6+ star river passenger ships of the most luxurious company in the sector.

Offer:

Position: Ass. Destination Manager

Company Name: one of the most luxury 6+ star and silver service companies

Ship Name: one of the luxury 6+ star ships of the company fleet

Basic Guaranteed Salary:  Gross wage 2730 EUR per month; Net wage  2350 EUR per month 

Rotation: 15 weeks onboard / 4 weeks on vacation

Social Insurance: provided by the company

Invalidity Pensions and Injury Benefits: covered by the company 

General Responsibilities: 

- Recommend and sell Destination activities to Guests and make the most of their shore side experience and to offer suggestions and recommendations to all Guests regarding all our ports of call

- Responsible for the daily dispatching of tours and coaches in each port of call

- Prepare items such as, but not limited to tour packages, briefing materials and manifests etc. to ensure that tours run accordingly to Guest satisfaction

- Answer any Guests questions regarding tours, ports or individual private requests in a courteous and professional manner

- Provide Guests with the most updated information with regards to tours (such as, but not limited to changes, cancellations etc.) in the form of a letter or a flyer and to distribute it accordingly in a timely manner

- Create Tour Order Forms in advance for the cruise ahead, with final proof to be made available to the Destination Manager in a timely manner

- Liaise with relevant Department Heads about the number of Guests participating on tours

- Monitor Office

- Ensure that any Maintenance issues in work areas are reported

- Complete a Work Registration Form correctly every month and to submit it to the Destination Manager in a timely manner

- Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures, Manuals and Directives

- Other responsibilities, as assigned by the Destination Manager but not limited to the above

Requirements:

- Fluency in English

- Scanned Diploma in English

- Valid International passport

- Reference letters from previous employers

Salary and Conditions Assistant Destination Manager
Gross wage Euro 2730,- a month includes the Social Security that we pay on behalf of each crewmember
Net wage Euro 2350,- a month is paid directly to crewmember
Rotation for Assistant Destination Manager is approximately 15 weeks onboard and 4 weeks’ vacation. If you work according to rotation schedule, you will receive the same amount when you are on 4 weeks’ vacation. We have a Free Time Compensation (FTC) system and the electronic payroll system calculates your days on board and days on leave. Each month on your payslip, it will state how many leave days is owed to you.
15 weeks on and 4 weeks off; one day work on board gives 0.27 days leave paid.
We are sailing under Maltese Flag and the company pay social security to Malta. The Maltese Social Security will give following benefits in your home country:
