Joining Marella Cruises as Commercial Manager you will be accountable for supporting the commercial team spanning cruise procurement, onboard revenue and ancillaries across the fleet in addition to managing the entry into service for new ships for our concessionaire partners. Working alongside a number of stakeholders both internally and externally you will ensure our external cruise partners, internal colleagues and our operations on-board teams are supported with the required commercial support and that we have a successful implementation plan for our concessionaire partners for new ship launches.TUI Group is the world’s number one integrated tourism business. What you will be doing

As Commercial Manager you will be responsible for supporting the Cruise Procurement Manager with the management of services in line with the TUI Group procurement policies to ensure the right product and services are purchased at the right price and in line with our product requirements.You will play a key role in the cruise tender process and lead some of the tenders working closely with the Cruise Procurement Manager. Management of an agreed portfolio of 3rd party suppliers for contractual purposes ensuring that the tender processes is followed in accordance with departmental procedures ensuring that all the required contractual information is accurate for incorporation into contractual agreements. You will work closely with our Legal colleagues to produce contracts for signature by the senior management team.You will ensure that any agreed contracts with our partners are communicated to the relevant business owners to ensure that the agreed terms are delivered operationally. Working in collaboration with Cruise Finance and Cruise Operations colleagues you will undertake reviews of the agreed contracts to ensure that our partners are providing the services that we have contracted and that our costs are closely managed and the right processes are in place to control our spend and the best possible operational delivery. A key element of the cruise procurement support will be to ensure that the agreed contracts are centrally stored to allow access for senior stakeholders and that we have a robust tracking of all contracts easily identifying when contracts are due for review. The Commercial Manager will lead the implementation plans for our concessionaire partners for the entry into service for new ships into the Marella Cruises fleet. This will include producing the implementation plans for each partner, communicating the agreed plans to the cruise leadership team and ensuring the correct governance is in place to ensure a successful entry into service for our concessionaire partners.Post entry into service the Commercial Manager will support will capture key lessons learned and support the wider business Project Implementation Reviews working closely with the Cruise Ancillaries Manager and Revenue Manager to ensure performance exceeds our expectations in the first season post launch.As the business lead you will analyse and report on all onboard revenue streams. Using the reporting tools used to monitor onboard revenue (RESCO & BOXI) you will produce accurate data and distribute to key internal and external colleagues to support decision making and maximum profit across the fleet. The role will also be required to conduct ship visits from time to time to establish relations with our onboard colleagues and review operations to ensure these are in line with contractual agreements.

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship, in a 4/5* Hotel or in an Upscale Restaurant.

Language Requirements
