PEOPLECONQUEST – HR is recruting for one of our clients that is a National River Company – Douro, Portugal

Job Position: Chefe de Sala / Head Waiter

Description:

Responsible for delivering an exceptional Break, Lunch and Dinner service for them travelers in accordance with the company standards, while contributing to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Practicing company values
• Providing professional food and beverage service.
• Responsible for the “mise en place” and hygiene of dining room area
• Good knowledge and understanding of bar and restaurant menus

Skills/Qualifications:

• Hotel school diploma or basic education equivalent is preferred
• Minimum two years of experience in the field of desired position, preferably in a 4 or 5 star restaurant and/or hotel
• Cruise ship experience is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to learn and progress
• Fluency in English (Mandatory);
• Avaliable from March until December (Maximum until 06th January)
• Fluency in German (preference).
