Sound and Light Technician and Manager with previous ship experience for immediate opening!

We are currently seeking on behalf of the US Cruise Line Bahams Paradise Cruises for qualified Sound and Light Technician and Manager. This is a great position for anyone with a passion for working in theatre whilst travelling to some of world’s most exciting destinations and gaining valuable life and work experience.

Primary duties include:

1. Maintain the sound and lighting equipment in all entertainment venues on board the vessel.
2. Ensures an efficient set up, presentation and operation within the entertainment framework.
3. Maintains an engaging manner to guest artists, fellow co-workers and passengers at all times.
4. Assists the Cruise Director and their staff within the entertainment program.
5. Perform any duty assigned by the Cruise Director and/or Entertainment Director.
6. Works effectively with fellow staff and management from all departments.
7. Monitors timely attendance, appearance and professional performance in all venues.
8. Provide daily schedules for the technical team under their supervision (Manager)
9. Completes performance appraisals that are a fair and accurate measure of the technical team (Manager).
10. Attend all department and inter-departmental meetings.
11. Ensure all team complete effective onboard training and orientation including Grand Celebration Q & A.(Manager)
12. Be responsible for all venue cleanliness and operational safety.
