Joining Marella Cruises as Cruise Ancillaries Manager you will be responsible for shaping and delivering the onboard revenue targets across the fleet. The role is also responsible for leading the implementation for entry into service for new ships for our concessionaire partners including spa, retail, photography and casino. You will play a key role in designing the longer term ancillary and onboard revenue strategy for cruise identifying new initiatives to ensure the continued growth of ancillary sales whilst recognising the changing needs of our customers. Working alongside a number of stakeholders both internally and externally you will ensure our external cruise partners, internal colleagues and our operations on-board teams are set up for success to deliver our onboard revenue targets.TUI Group is the world’s number one integrated tourism business. What you will be doing

As Cruise Ancillaries Manager you will be responsible for shaping and delivering the onboard revenue targets across the Marella Cruises fleet which represent a significant contribution to the Cruise overall P&L.Working with key internal colleagues both within Head Office and onboard our ships to ensure a collaborative approach to delivering the agreed targets is in place providing clear communication and rationale for onboard revenue targets.Demonstrating excellent leadership skills across the wider cruise team is a key requirement ensuring that your direct report team are delivering the required levels of performance.A key requirement to establish industry leading relationships with a portfolio of external partners who fulfill our onboard services such as spa, casino, retail and photography. You will create annual partnership plans with each of these partners designed to deliver the stretching onboard revenue targets. Managing the financial, operational and contractual performance of our key partners is a critical aspect of the Cruise Ancillaries Manager role to ensure that onboard revenue targets are exceeded.Working with our external partners you will identify new opportunities for both parties to support longer term strategic initiatives.The role will be required to work closely with the Cruise Finance team to provide accurate forecast updates relating to the onboard revenue area ensuring that all necessary risks to the budget are mitigated through taking a pro- active approach.Working closely with our hotel and entertainment partners to ensure that any onboard revenue opportunities are maximised within these key areas of our operation for existing ships and any new ships entering service that will provide opportunities to introduce new concepts and products.You will identify new onboard and ancillary revenue opportunities and the technology enablers that will support the growth strategy and meet the needs of our customers closely monitoring our competitors activities both within and outside of the rapidly expanding cruise industry. The Cruise Ancillaries Manager will lead the implementation plans for our concessionaire partners for the entry into service for new ships into the Marella Cruises fleet. This will include producing the implementation plans for each partner, communicating the agreed plans to the cruise leadership team and ensuring the correct governance is in place to ensure a successful entry into service for our concessionaire partners. Post launch there will be a requirement to monitor the performance of new and existing partners to ensure delivery of the agreed onboard revenue targets.Using the reporting tools available( Resco/Boxi)you will monitor onboard revenue and produce accurate data and distribute to key internal and external colleagues to support decision making and maximum profit across the fleet.

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship, in a 4/5* Hotel or in an Upscale Restaurant.

Language Requirements
