Vessel Manager

Faststream are currently working with an excellent client currently operating out of a prime location in the Netherlands. The position on offer needs the right individual to ensure that vessels can operate worldwide. As a Vessel Manager you would be responsible for the technical state of the vessels and its operational effectiveness. You would manage 3 to 4 vessels (with a worth of 100 to 150 million euros) autonomously. You will give technical advice and support to the technical crew members on their gas tanker fleet. You will also lead and give in guidance in regards to dockings, repairs and maintenance and will keep an updated overview whilst also planning for the future of the vessels.

The minimum requirements for the position are as follows:

• That you hold a degree at HBO level.
• 3 to 10 years experience in ship management / ship repair at at-least Junior/Assistant Technical Superintendent level.

The salary will be negotiable but will be around EUR 75-80K. A Re-location package may be negotiated for any successful individual which would need to move country, to join the company.
