The Company
I am currently working with leading Cruise company, and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to work in the companies Head Office as a Port Operations Manager.
The Role
As Port Operations Manager you will enjoy a varied role. You will provide operational support to the fleet and ensure that critical information is readily available.
You will be the company's key point of contact with Ports, and ensure that port information is gathered and shared with the office and fleet.
Responsibilities will include:
-Planning and coordinating port services required by the fleet
-Budgeting port costs
-Ensuring that a high quality port experience is achieved
-Liaising with all key stakeholders
-Identifying potential cost savings
The ideal candidate will have:
-A degree level qualification in Nautical Science / Tourism / Economics / Or Similar
-3 years plus experience in shipping / logistics - Cruise experience is preferred
-Well-developed negotiation skills
-Strong Microsoft Office ability and computer skills
-A result focused mindset
-Fluent English language skills
