Desktop Publisher required for Silversea Cruises

We are currently searching for an experienced Desktop Publisher required for a 6* Luxury Cruise Line the Silversea!

Your role will involve the coordination/production and quality control of all written on board communication with guests.

You will be responsible for the publication of daily newsletter , the contact person for all visiting writers and journalists, responsible for all onboard printed matters and timely production and coordinate the translation of printed matters into foreign languages.

You will have a B.A. in journalism or similar, in-depth knowledge of desktop publishing and graphic design. Excellent knowledge of graphical user interface Word, Pagemaker, Corel Draw & Quark Express.

You will supervise the printer on a day to day basis , need excellent communication and organisational skills, ability to work to a strict deadline and enjoy working under pressure.

Previous experience at sea in a similar role or in a luxury hotel environment.

Language requirements:
Excellent command of English plus fluency in at least one additional language such as German, French, Italian or Spanish.
Contracts are for 6 months on and 2 months off.
