The Program Manager oversees and facilitates the day-to-day onboard entertainment and enrichment for all Residents and Guests. The Program Manager actively engages with Residents & Guests, both at onboard events and via the daily television show. The Program Manager ensures excellence in the execution of The World’s luxury standards in relation to all Resident and Guest services. The Program Manager reports directly to the General Manger.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of the onboard product by creating and delivering events and experiences for Residents and Guests
  • Implements and hosts daily event and activities schedule 
  • Exceed Residents and Guests expectations in every aspect of onboard entertainment and enrichment 
  • Principal contact on board for all Guest Lecturers, Musicians, local shows 
  • Responsible for Marina Days and Beach landings 
  • Drives the Integrated Program Advisory Group on board
  • Ensures the dive/snorkel program is delivered per standards
  • Responsible for the oversight and the onboard execution of Expeditions and ensuring effective communication with the Expedition Team, on board Management and shoreside partners
  • Principle point person for the Florida Office as it relates to the Program Department, on board owner of the “Tapestry”
  • Establish and develop a highly motivated, engaged, well trained, pro-active team with the highest ethical standards 
  • Lead by example using a fair and transparent, “hands-on” management style; be highly visible and approachable to Residents, Guests and Crew 
  • Develop, manage and adhere to the hotel operating budget; submit monthly financial reviews 
  • Continuously review the operation and make recommendations to enhance the product

Hiring Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 year’s relevant experience on a luxury cruise ship, private club, boutique hotel, luxury hotel or resort 
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Cruise Director or Events Manager on a luxury Cruise Ship, Private Club, Boutique Hotel, luxury Hotel or Resort
  • Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred 
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural environment 
  • Able to read, write and speak fluently in English 
  • One additional language (German, French, Italian, Spanish) preferred 
  • Excellent computer skills to include creating and working with spreadsheets, Word, Excel and Outlook

Work Experience Requirements
