What you will be doing
Our Destination Services Executive provides management of our shore excursion product and content, ensuring delivery across all deployment areas for the Marella Cruises fleet.
Managing the end to end delivery of Destination Services content you’ll support the maximisation of sales onboard and via our B2B and B2C selling platforms, realising marketing opportunities and ensuring the delivery of profit targets. As part of this you’ll support the tender and contracting process with appropriate suppliers, track their replies and review the rates with necessary negotiation to support final decision making.
You’ll lead the selection of excursions and implementation of the programme whilst supporting day-to-day operations. As the key contact for Destination Services you’ll also manage the relationship with key external suppliers. By doing this, lead the end to end production of areas such as Port Showcase/movies and maps to support both shore excursions and provision of independent information for the customer.
Deputise for the Senior and Destination Services Operations Manager where appropriate including at key industry events such as Seatrade, World Travel Market and during stakeholder meetings. You’ll also have responsibility for supporting recruitment of our overseas teams and management of the delivery of the Destination Services area onboard.

- Well-developed knowledge of the cruise industry and travel destinations with strong customer focus
- Knowledge of the end-to-end customer journey both pre and post departure
- Creative thinking/flair to identify new ideas
- Strong team player and leader
- Willingness to travel overseas
- Academic requirements: 3 A levels (grade C or above)

Work Experience Requirements
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship, in a 4/5* Hotel or in an Upscale Restaurant.
Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
