Cabin Stewardess / Steward (f/m) on a River cruise vessel

Responsibilities:

Daily cleaning and servicing of passenger cabins
Daily assistance with the cleaning of all public areas including public toilets, fitness/sauna, lobby and reception areas
The correct distribution of daily programs, gift orders and correct turn down service in the assigned cabins
Welcoming passengers and escorting them to their cabins during embarkation

Responsible for the following duties:

Achieving and maintaining the corporate standard in the housekeeping department
Correct handling handling of passenger and crew laundry as well as laundry and uniforms laundered by external companies
Correct handling and storage of all housekeeping supplies, detergents and equipment
Assistance in the ship’s laundry
Assistance with the loading of ship’s supplies as instructed
Assisting in taking inventory of the housekeeping department
Participation in the on board training program
Various preparatory duties prior to and at the end of the season

Qualifications:

English spoken
Completed training (school)
1 year of professional experience in a comparable position

Conditions of Employment:

Basic guaranteed salary per month: 650-750 EUR
Guaranteed tip from company (550-650 EUR pm)
Personal tips (+500-700 Euro approx.)
