Fleet Manager - Cruise

The Company

I am currently working with an established Cruise company (who own both Ocean Cruise AND River Cruise Vessels), and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Manager/ Technical Superintendent / Fleet Manager to progress into a senior level role as Fleet Manager.

The Role

As Fleet Manager you will report into the CEO, and enjoy a varied role.
Overseeing the Technical, Nautical and Purchasing departments internally - you will ensure that all business operations are managed in line with global maritime regulations, that they adhere to company policies, and that the passenger experience and company standards are kept at the forefront of the teams focus.

Utilising your developed management skills, you will ensure that attention is focused on guest satisfaction, budgets are adhered to, technical planning is in place, that safety awareness is promoted, and that all departments are running at a high level.

The ideal candidate will have:

-Experience as Technical Superintendent / Fleet Manager on River Cruise OR Ocean Cruise
-Seagoing experience sailing as Chief Engineer on Cruise Ships
-Developed leadership skills
-Strong financial acumen
-Computer literacy
-English language skills
