The role of Senior Entertainment Host - Dance, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing as a couple in evening entertainment and running  dance classes throughout the cruise.
• Assisting and hosting a variety of events on board, including deck games, bingo’s, quizzes, game shows and karaoke.
• Ensuring all guests are aware of the activities and entertainment available to them throughout their cruise.
• Taking ownership of guests comments and ensuring any issues are followed up and dealt with effectively.
• Being reactive to a fast paced and ever changing environment.
• Supporting the entertainment department and other ship departments to ensure that the guests holiday runs smoothly and they have the best experience possible.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with guests and crew members.
• The types of dance will include; Latin, ballroom, tango, cha cha, foxtrot, among others. Therefore the successful dance couple must be at an expert level in these dances.

As a Senior Entertainment Host - Dance in a fast paced environment, ideally we would love it if you had experience of working in a resort either in UK or abroad. Experience in hosting a variety of events and shows would be advantageous. However, we believe in hiring people with the right attitudes and strengths over their competencies.

In this high profile, customer-facing role, you will have a big part to play in ensuring unforgettable holiday happiness. You will need to be naturally organised and good at prioritising; additionally you will love delivering great service to guests and get a thrill out of making people happy. Your role will be exciting and varied and having a ‘can do’ attitude will help you manage an ever changing environment. The fact you can naturally calmly juggle priorities and adapt to change will make any changing circumstances run smoothly.
