As a key member of the UK&I Distribution & Cruise (D&C) Team, you will be accountable for leading the planning, delivery, sequencing and engagement of business change projects across D&C. These projects are fundamental to the continued growth of the UK&I business and you will be responsible for ensuring they deliver in a timely manner and ensuring change is sustainable with the projects delivering on all KPI’s.

What you will be doing

As the Business Lead for D&C Projects you will matrix manage project teams to ensure effective communications, people engagement and training throughout the life of the project(s) as well making certain of the timely delivery of all the project(s) you have responsibility for. You will work with a proven governance structure for change, ensuring that all key stakeholders actively participate in project decision making as well as creating and then reporting on the relevant project plans and communicating on the overall project status, identifying and driving resolution for any associated risks or issues to the project delivery.

You will be required to develop initial change management scope, roadmap, stakeholder assessments, training needs analysis, change impact and readiness assessments and the communication plan to set up the change management workstream for the duration of the programme. You will also take a lead in working with relevant teams to deliver the right product proposition for projects you will be involved with. Putting our customers and colleagues at the heart of all we do when landing change will be an essential part of you role to ensure sustainable change and all your plans should consider this.

For your projects you will also support the creation and management/communication of an overall D&C UK&I pipeline for change delivery that ensures individual projects are delivered in conjunction with other change across the D&C division whilst also ensuring impact on BAU activities across the teams is minimal to make certain of sustainable change and minimal customer impact. As part of this you will be required to support day to day change management by working in a collaborative way with other areas involved in change management within and outside of the business ensuring all understand their role within your projects and you gain their support in driving plans, managing risks and any interdependencies.

You will have a key role within the D&C Change team and will be expected to take an active role in the leadership and development of the wider team.

What we are looking for

  • Experience in managing and delivering business change projects
  • Proven ability of managing and delivering through cross-functional teams ( influencing projects and people over whom you have no direct control) and working collaboratively to proactively drive and support change
  • Experienced practitioner of facilitation, stakeholder management, and programme communication and management
  • Excellent Microsoft Office & Project skills
  • Proven track record of supplier/partner management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communications and facilitation skills
  • Strong Commercial acumen and good negotiation skills with ability to build compelling business cases for change initiatives
  • Experienced change driver who has a passion for timely delivery of projects
  • Strong team player with the ability to challenge and provide leadership

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship, in a 4/5* Hotel or in an Upscale Restaurant.
