Uniworld owns and operates a fleet of thirteen intimate, boutique river cruise ships on the European waterways which cater exclusively to English-speaking clients. To support our Technical Team in the Rheinfelden operations office, Switzerland, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated professional in the role of:

Sales Support Executive

Role & Responsibilities

Sales Support

  • Provide a helpful, friendly and efficient administrative support to the sales team and our agents (from organising brochures delivery, ordering bottles of wine to checking availability, confirming prices, setting up new accounts and various reports)
  • Manage the sales and marketing budget - recording spend, forwarding invoices for payment, provide accruals and ensure we are tracking spend vs budget
  • Send travel agent rates and certificates to agents completing the Uniworld University course
  • Manage the Agency Sales email inbox
  • Manage brochure distribution through travel agents and B2C and prepare stats on stock levels and agent usage
  • Prepare and send agency agreements detailing agreed commercial terms from the sales managers
  • Managing meetings - booking meeting rooms, send invites to participants, writing down actions points and making sure they are followed through by the assigned individual
  • Working closely with the marketing team to ensure you are across all initiatives and actively participating, supporting and promoting marketing campaigns
  • Update partners with Uniworld news, offers, campaigns and provide marketing collateral, availability levels and lead prices
  • Log and process any agent incentives

Reporting

  • Monitor the sales activity of key commercial partners
  • Prepare a monthly report detailing bookings & revenue against same time last year and target as well as to show ROI against spend
  • Implementing the Salesforce system for actions tracking and reporting
  • Oracle and budget management/processing, reporting - monthly, weekly and development of reports and analysis to pull key areas for development
  • Sales Development
  • Outbound calling to agents following conference, campaign, promotion of offer
  • Approx. 2-3 days a week to be spent on account management - building own portfolio of agent accounts by telephone calls, visits and trainings both from the office and in person (to be determined based on weekly workload)
  • Act as a 'back up' for Sales Managers out in their areas - to include visits, training and agent customer events

Training & Events

  • Planning and organisation of Uniworld and U by Uniworld/TTC own events such as training days and roadshows
  • Assist in the organisation of and attend trade events, road shows , conferences, FAM trips and promotional events - some travel and overnight stays may be required in the UK and overseas
  • Coordination and management of themed cruises
  • Development of River Currents booking system for agents - create a training manual & webinar on how to use this system

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills
  • Highly organised and computer literate
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products (e.g Excel, Word Outlook & PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Sales Force an advantage
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Excellent customer care skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible - increased hours and weekend work maybe required from time to time
  • Some overseas travel will be required
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Good numeracy skills

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship, in a 4/5* Hotel or in an Upscale Restaurant.
