Bartenders and Barservers/waiters for Royal Caribbean International

KMCC is on behalf of Royal Caribbean International looking for experienced Bartenders and Barservers/waiters within the Bar Department on board.

We are currently seeking motivated, energetic and flexible candidates to work onboard leading cruise line Royal Caribbean & Celebrity Cruises. As a Bartender and/or Barserver you will be delivering an exceptional service as Cocktail Bartender/server to all guests onboard ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. The main tasks include serving drinks to passengers and crew ensuring a smooth and efficient operation and maximum revenue. You would be promoting bar campaigns by engaging with the guests, assisting with controlling bar budget, clear down routines after service.

This is a fantastic opportunity to combine travelling to exotic places and work for one of the world’s leading Cruise Lines. Life on board involves working 10 hours a day (split in smaller shifts), 7 days a week for between 6 & 7 months onboard followed by 7-8 weeks vacation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of at least  2 years experience as Coctail bartender/server on a Cruise Ship, in a 4/5* Hotel or in an Upscale bar/restaurant.
• Ability to upsell
• Knowledge of American and International Bar and Wine service/beverages as well as knowledge of Old and New World Wines, Spirits and Beers
• High service commitment to guests
• Minimum age is 21 years or older
• Ability to speak English clearly with guests and ideally at least one other language (Spanish, French, German, Italian etc)
