Cruise Director (Cruise Ship) - $ Competitive salary per month on board

ARM is seeking candidates for Cruise Director positions on board some of the most prestigious cruise ships travelling the world.

Whilst being responsible for ensuring complete guest and team satisfaction through delivering exceptional customer service, the main responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Effectively manages all entertainment presentations, activities, quality in venues and all special events conducted on board the vessel requiring the entertainment staff.
  • Serves as the Master of Ceremonies for shows and events.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all entertainment and cruise programmes assets and venues are regularly maintained and in optimal condition.
  • Ensures STAR, safety, environmental and other company policies and standards are consistently maintained.
  • Actively displays a business ownership mentality when developing tactical plans to achieve all targets,
  • Ensures all inventory levels are appropriate per targets and operational requirements.
  • Ensures all areas are fully compliant with all agency regulations (USPH, CPH, EUPHA).
  • Continuously displays inspirational leadership capabilities through encouragement and recognition.
  • Collaborates well and works up, down and across the organisation.
  • Ensures that all communication is professional and according to brand standards.
  • Exhibits professional leadership presence, positive energy and passion in all situations.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Three to five years’ experience in an upscale hotel, resort or cruise ship.
  • Master of Ceremony or professional entertainment experience and skills required.
  • Exemplifies a sense of professionalism and impeccable style.
  • Ability to lead with a global perspective in a culturally diverse and dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of policies and practices involved in the human resources function.
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration or related field from an accredited College or University (or, on the job equivalent).
  • Intermediate computer software skills required.

Work Experience Requirements
