I am looking for a Second Electronics Officer to join a leading Cruise Line. The Second Electronics Officer will support the assisting the First Electronics Officer in the safe, efficient, and

cost-effective repair and maintenance of all onboard electronic equipment, including

communications systems

Duties/Responsibilities

• Effectively and efficiently assists in the management of all onboard electronic equipment, including communications systems, in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
• Promptly performs assigned repair work resulting from incoming defect chits of the Hotel / Deck / Technical Department and works closely with all departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Immediately reports all electronics and communications equipment damage or malfunction to the First Electronics Officer.
• Works closely with the Senior Technical Storekeeper to ensure sufficient stock of spare parts and consumables is held on board to cover planned and unplanned maintenance at all times.

As well as the above items listed in this Role Description, employees also perform any other duties as assigned by management.

To be considered for this role the 2nd Electronics Officer must have the GMDSS GOC as well as a strong background in electronics
