Refrigeration Cadet (Cruise) - Worldwide

Navis Consulting are looking for a Refrigeration Cadet to join a leading Cruise Line. The Refrigeration Cadet will support the Refrigeration Officer in the maintenance and upkeep of the vessel’s ventilation and Air Condition and refrigeration systems.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist the Refrigeration Officer in the execution of the maintenance and routine testing of equipment, instrument and automation.
• Participate in drills and training as required by the Company, ensure that refrigerant leaks reported to the Chief Engineer and are eliminated as soon as possible.
• Complete any additional assignment as per Refrigeration Officer and/or Chief engineer discretion
• Ensure all aspects of the company’s global HESS-MS are effectively applied during his/her working activities

Training and testing for “Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification” will be provided by the company within six months of employment

Requirements:

In order to be considered for the role candidates must hold

• Current and valid Basic Training Certificates as per STCW 10 Regulation
• Current and valid Security Awareness Training and Crowd and Crisis Management Certificate
