We are increasing staff on board of SILVERSEA Cruise ships ( part of Royal Caribbean Group) and searching the face of PRELUDIO CAPRI SANDALS on board of new luxury ships offering an exciting sales opportunity

The primary responsibility of the “ CAPRI SANDAL ARTISAN & SALES SPECIALIST ” is to achieve and exceed Capri sandals sales goals through highly developed promotional skills and on site made-to-measure artisan activities necessary to personalize sandal on customer feet. Selling is only part of the role: you will inspire customer & enrich their dream vacation through a creative and entertaining retail experience

• You will act as a consultant to guests helping them to discover among the high-end Preludio sandal collection the style and products that reflect their lives, proposing the variety of models available in the point of sales;
• You will create guest excitement, assembling the selected model on the customer foot size , thus engaging customers in a memorable retail experience on board;
• You will receive appropriate training in Corporate  training school to become a real “artisan on board” and Ambassador of the Brand ;
• You will cultivate and foster client relationship on board;
• You will promote the highest possible quality retailing standards, continuously driving maximum sales results;
• You will deliver excellent customer service in a sophisticated retail environment aboard a luxury cruise ship transforming shop guests into loyal customers;
• You will manage the sales posting , stock & coordinate the material replenishment with Corporate office in order to have always the proper material on board
• You will take care of the administration activities of the shop using the mobile software tools provided
• You will liaise regularly with Preludio Corporate office to manage product/sales/admin activities
• You will prepare weekly report on sales performance, including quality inputs & customer feedback

• Flexibility to eventually engage, beside ships, also in other retail shop experience internationally ,as necessary
• Follow all quarantene and all safety rules dictated by the Cruisecompany and Preludio Capri in Headquarter

Required Experience:

• High standard of personal grooming, as well as fashion sales retail experience
• Ability (or willingness to learn ) artisan ability to assemble Capri sandals
• Must be 21 years or older, preferably Italian origin or at least some Italian speaking
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• Good English-language speaking, reading, and writing skills
• At least basic knoledge of Italian language needed to interact effectively with Corporate Offices

Salary:

• Contract : By Silversea Cruise Company , upon Preludio Capri approval
• Base salary range: Basic $1.500 net US/ per month + 10% of sales in commission which can lead to achieve 3-4.000 $, depending on commission earnings.
• Free food and shared cabin
• The annual 12 months rotation is 4 or 6 months on and 1 off. Transportation to get to the boarding port and to return to the home country will be company cost
• All benefit belonging to at the Cruise company Silversea

Note: Before boarding, selected candidates will have to partecipate to a full time 40 days cobbler artisan training in Rome  . There no charge for the training and full airline ticket and lodging are paid by the company; the candidate will not recieve any salary during the training days .
