Box Office Staff (Entertainment)

POSITION SUMMARY / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Box Office Staff are responsible for operating the Box Office onboard, under the direction of the Box Office Manager and Cruise Director. A majority of the entertainment outlets are controlled using a ticketing system and the Box Office Staff will ensure a smooth and effective operation issuing tickets for the shows in different formats and loading the venues for the performances. They are also required to handle any guest concerns that may arise and provide exceptional customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of one year of experience working with a ticketing system as a Box Office attendant is required; OR minimum of one year of experience on cruise ships working as a cruise staff host or working in a customer service role on a cruise ship or in a hotel or resort is required.
Intermediate to Advanced level of English verbal and writing skills, including the proper use of English grammar is required.
Intermediate to Advanced skills in typing and computer software skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Fidelio Cruise, Micros) is required.

EDUCATION

High school diploma or foreign equivalent is required.
