We are looking for a passionate and skilled Baker to join Amadeus culinary team on board. The ideal candidate is dedicated to their craft and experienced in producing superior, handcrafted baked goods using high‑quality ingredients. This role plays an important part in delivering an exceptional culinary experience to both guests and crew members.

The Baker is friendly, courteous and confident when interacting with guests, including participating in baking demonstrations or sharing recipes when required. As a team player, you work efficiently, maintain excellent hygiene standards and follow instructions from your superiors. You support the galley team across various functions and contribute to a smooth and well‑organized operation. Candidates with experience as a baker, bakery clerk, bread associate or Bäcker/Bäckerin are encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

  • Professional baker qualification and specialist knowledge of baked goods
  • Previous experience as a baker in restaurants, hotels or on cruise vessels
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the Executive Chef and team in English or German
  • Strong cost and quality awareness
  • High level of self‑motivation, reliability and creativity

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare bread, rolls, danish, muffins and biscuits for guests and crew members
  • Contribute to minimizing wastage through careful production and planning
  • Lead bakery demonstrations for guests according to the daily program
  • Operate and maintain galley equipment and machinery with care
  • Assist with loading food, beverages, laundry and other supplies as needed
