Dry Dock Planning Sr Manager

The Company

I am currently working with a Leading Cruise company, who are looking for a Dry Dock Planning Senior Manager to head up a team of project Managers The position is based in The USA and the existing right to live and work in American is essential.

The Role

We are looking for someone to lead the preplanning, execution and delivery of 4 to 5 dry docks a year. You will be responsibility for the successful delivery of multimillion-dollar projects. Some of these projects will be very complex and have tight deadlines.

• You will be responsible for the planning, budgeting and scheduling of the dry-docks of the assigned vessels. Provide oversight to maximize the effective use of resources, space and equipment.
• You will be managing a team of experienced Project Manager covering operational, technical, nautical, and regulatory.
• You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining policies and ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, practices and regulatory codes.

The ideal candidate will have;

• Bachelor's Degree in Marine/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture or equivalent degree/experience preferred.
• Very strong experience in planning and execution of dry-docks. With at least 3 years' experience managing a team.

• You should be able to show you have been on multiple dry docks throughout their career for large vessels and are comfortable with large complex projects and tight deadlines.
• Project Management in the Maritime industry is essential.
• Experience in leading a team is required
• The existing right to live and work in the USA is essential.
